What’s the operation points of steeping, germination and dry box?

The box with three functions means that steeping、germination,dry will carry out in same box. The box is made of reinforced concrete, the length is about 50-70 meters, width about 8-10 meters,height about 1.5-2.5 meters. Per two boxes install in one line. This is a place for installation ventilation, air conditioning equipment. The capacity is about 40-370T.

The equipment for ventilation and dry device will set seperately, also can use independently and use a group ventilation device. There install spiral mixer in the box, the rotating speed about 42r/min. The forward speed 0.2m/min. There have two groups nozzle for steeping. The working capability can reach 10M3 per hour.

The steeping usually adopt spray method, it needs about 48h and reach 38%-45% degree.

For germination, it adopt ventilation method and continue. It needs about 5-6 days can be finished.

The fresh malt need dry about 24-36h. When the dry is finished, then deliever the malt into transport system. Include feed and discharge material, the box produce period about 10 days.
