The reason of lower tank pressure in secondary fermentation
In the process of secondary fermentation, the tank pressure is important technical parameter. It can affect directly the co2 content and foam quality of beer. In general, after 3 days of secondary fermentation, the tank pressure can up to 0.04~0.05Mpa. After 5 days, tank pressure can up to 0.05~0.08Mpa, standard technical pressure. But, sometimes, after several days, the tank pressure still be lower than 0.03Mpa. The reason is as follows.
1.There is gas leakage phenomenon at the tank port, valve and pipe joint.
2.There are too much co2 loss due to too late sealing time.
3.The less residual sugar as bad control for temperature and sugar degree when transfer the beer from fermenter to brite beer tank.
4.The primary fermentation is not vigorous, so the yeast quantity is less (3~5)x10^6 cfu/ml.
5.The remaining space is too big due to too less beer.
