Our Story:

Alus darītava Viedi, located in the heart of Latvia, has been redefining modern brewing since its founding in 2015. Known for its innovative approach to beer brewing, the brewery wanted to expand its production capacity with advanced brewing equipment. This led them to connect with Juris Cinītis, a trusted agent of Tentech equipment in Latvia.

Before deciding to go with Tiantai equipment, the team at Alus darītava Viedi conducted a meticulous evaluation of various suppliers. Juris Cinītis played a vital role in this decision, providing valuable insights into Tiantai capabilities and ensuring seamless communication between the brewery and the equipment manufacturer.

Understanding Viedi’s vision, Juris Cinītis communicated their specific needs to Tiantai sales and technical teams. The goal was to design a brewing system that maximized efficiency while maintaining a compact and aesthetically pleasing layout, taking into account the brewery’s space constraints.

The final solution was a state-of-the-art 4-boiler system with a capacity of 1,500 liters, powered by steam heating. This setup enables Viedi to maintain high brewing standards while optimizing the brewer’s workflow. Tiantai’s engineers carefully designed and manufactured the system, ensuring it met Viedi’s operational requirements before shipping it to Latvia.

Upon arrival, the brewing equipment was precisely assembled. The installation team included professionals such as Kastrolis Imanta, Toms Cinītis, Kaspars Kalniņš, Aivars Lorencs and Māris Kazerovskis, who worked hard to integrate the system seamlessly into Viedi’s brewery.

The test brew in Jelgava marked the successful launch of the new unit. Although minor aesthetic improvements are still required, the system is 95% complete and fully operational. The biggest challenge – ensuring a compact but brewer-friendly and attractive design for visitors – was successfully overcome.
