Beer is generally defined as: malt as the main raw material, hops, yeast brewed, containing carbon dioxide, foaming, low alcohol fermentation wine.brewery equipment,fermenter,brewhouses,brew houses,brews house,brewery house,brew house,brewing house,brewhouse,brew house,microbrewery.
In China, the definition of beer was determined by the State Bureau of technical supervision (now the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine) in 1998 as: malt (including special MALT) as the main raw material, hops added, yeast brewed, containing 2.5% ~ 7.5% (volume fraction), foaming, low alcohol content fermented wine.
Raw materials for beer production include barley, rice (or corn), syrup and sugar, hops, water, yeast, etc.
What is the hardness of water? How to distinguish the hardness of brewing water?
The hardness of water refers to the ability of water ions (mainly calcium ions and magnesium ions) to precipitate sodium stearate (saponification).

Note: the hardness of water can be expressed by chemical expression (refers to the amount of material containing CaCO3 in 1L water, unit: mmol /) and customary expression (10 mg in 1L water is defined as 1 German degree, unit: DH); here, the hardness of water is expressed by chemical expression; the hardness of 1mmol / L water in chemical expression is equivalent to that of 1.402dh in customary expression.
